JES Bookspotters

They said it couldn't be done!

It has been said, "The difficult we do right away; the impossible takes a little longer."

My books are all POD (Print-on-demand) books. I have heard many, many authors say that it is impossible to get POD books into bookstores, especially the big chain bookstores.

There isn't much I love more than a good challenge, so I set out to prove that it could be done. Was it easy? No way! Was it difficult? Yes, at first. Was it impossible? No; it just took a little longer.

While I get dozens of e-mails from people every day who are finding and buying my books in bookstores all across the country, my heart was thrilled when Carlene Reed, a fellow author, sent me pictures of one of my books on the shelves of the Barnes & Noble store in her hometown, including her picture, holding a cup of coffee from the B&N coffee shop and my book, Pampas, as well as the books in their position on the shelves. I am thrilled to share these pictures with you.

If any of you spot a copy of any of my books on any bookstore shelves and send me a picture of you holding them, I will add your picture to my JES Bookspotter page, along with a link to your website (if you have one).

And to all the naysayers who say "It can't be done," my advice is "Work a little harder; the impossible takes a little longer."

A great book is like a great mind; it keeps on giving
over and over and over again!
